Resting Pendulum

Stay centred, let it go: it could be a mantra, and for Pilar Zeta it is also a sculpture. For L’Officiel Ibiza’s annual art cover, the Argentine artist faces the pendulum, motion and stillness, ascent and rest.

For the longest day of the year, florist Benn Davey interprets the summer solstice for L’Officiel Ibiza. A meditation on light, impermanence and the quiet art of living unhurried.

There is something dear to the island about crochet - this looped, open, handmade weave that has always complemented the chic, free-spirited style Ibiza made its signature. Here, crochet is not nostalgia. It is the language of summer, worn loosely over sun-warmed skin, equal parts artisan and effortless. So it was a fitting note to gather around last week, when the island's tastemakers came together in the north of Ibiza, at AGORA within Six Senses, to welcome a new arrival.

FARM's summer pop-up at Particular – the shop next to Casa Jondal – turns a quiet corner of the coast into a pocket of Rio. We gathered there for a late lunch: coconut water served straight from the coconut, caipirinhas catching the afternoon light and that unmistakable Carioca ease where no one is in a hurry to leave. Around the table sat Ibiza socialites, the L'Officiel team, international influencers and the FARM Rio team.
