There is something dear to the island about crochet - this looped, open, handmade weave that has always complemented the chic, free-spirited style Ibiza made its signature. Here, crochet is not nostalgia. It is the language of summer, worn loosely over sun-warmed skin, equal parts artisan and effortless. So it was a fitting note to gather around last week, when the island's tastemakers came together in the north of Ibiza, at AGORA within Six Senses, to welcome a new arrival.

FARM's summer pop-up at Particular – the shop next to Casa Jondal – turns a quiet corner of the coast into a pocket of Rio. We gathered there for a late lunch: coconut water served straight from the coconut, caipirinhas catching the afternoon light and that unmistakable Carioca ease where no one is in a hurry to leave.
