Both brands continue their partnership with a new collection that blends conceptual exploration with technical outdoor design. Reinterpreting classic styles is a key aspect of this collaboration: after exploring the codes of the Mary Jane, recognizable by its strap across the instep, they now focus on the derby, a shoe traditionally associated with menswear and characterized by its open lacing system. The new MM6 CROSSDERBY incorporates trail running elements into this silhouette and furthers the investigation into the uses and meanings of footwear. The combination is embodied in a full-grain leather upper—obtained from the outer layer of the hide and prized for its quality and durability—in a glossy black finish, whose elegance contrasts with the technical and robust character of the sole. Mud Contagrip technology, with its deep, pronounced lugs, provides grip on soft and uneven terrain, while the Quicklace system allows for easy lace tension adjustment in a single movement, without the need to tie them. The brand&#39;s sporting heritage is thus evident in both the proportions and the details of its construction. The collection also brings back the XT-MM6 in three new color combinations: a multicolored version, another in tapioca and violet tones, and a third in deep green. Its EndoFit internal structure cradles the foot, while SensiFit technology secures it from the midsole to the laces for a precise fit. The Agile Chassis system provides stability and works in conjunction with the EnergyCell foam to cushion each step. Meanwhile, the Road Contagrip outsole, with its flat, wide lugs designed to enhance grip on hard, smooth surfaces, adapts the model for urban use. The proposal is completed with the return of the XT-15 backpack, whose white waterproof cover with the logo in black introduces a continuous surface that contrasts with the technical details of the accessory.
