From pancakes for Cameron D&iacute;az to hotdogs for Woody Harrelson, Mary McCartney, the author of the new Taschen cookbook, will delight you with her recipes, portraits and conversations she has with her family and friends.

&ldquo;Feeding Creativity&rdquo; is not your typical cookbook. In this, Mary McCartney genuinely and creatively combines her two greatest passions: <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/portraits/quil-lemons-delves-into-personal-identity-in-latest-photography-series-quiladelph" target="_blank" rel="noopener">photography</a> and cooking.
It all started thanks to the fact that the photographer continually works and collaborates with the artist Peter Blake . Inspired by the small kitchen she has in her studio to heat her food during the winter, she texted him asking if she could bring him something to eat. Blake answered yes.
After that, the daughter of the singer of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/young-john-lennon-in-rare-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Beatles</a> did not stop: she began to bring different preparations to her friends and family around the world and along with that, photograph them next to the plate to the sound of a good conversation.
And who wouldn't want to have Mary McCartney's friends? Drew Barrymore, Jeff Koons, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Edward Enninful, Nile Rodgers, Stanley Tucci, Ringo Star and even her father and sister are some of those who make up this privileged group of friends and family. These give life to 60 dishes that cover every meal of the day you can imagine: breakfast, brunch , main courses, sides, sandwiches and desserts.

Mary McCartney&#39;s interesting and eclectic circle is captured by her lens along with the recipe she prepared for them, and is accompanied by a text [along with the inevitable recipe] about the experience, which transports you to the moment and place. You can almost believe you were there. For the chef and photographer, cooking for people is a way to connect with them. &quot;I love pleasing people through food, because when I do it, it always opens up a really interesting conversation. People would often start talking about their mothers in this book and, feeling quite nostalgic, they would talk about the food with the that they grew up. Or, you know, I think it makes for really interesting, deeper conversations. Sharing food together just creates bonds,&quot; McCartney says.

The 60 recipes in the book have the characteristic of being simple, easy to make and totally <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/food/vegan-rock-you-the-rock-n-roller-among-the-vega-cooking-books" target="_blank" rel="noopener">plant based</a> . And not without reason. Mary, along with her father and sister Stella, launched the &ldquo; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/meatfreemonday/?hl=es">Meatless Monday</a> &rdquo; campaign in 2009, which remains in force to this day through hashtags, videos and various actions to reduce meat consumption.
