At Paris Fashion Week, Jonathan Anderson&rsquo;s first show for Dior is not just the most anticipated debut of the season: it is the beginning of a new era. A masculinity with French rigour and preppy accents

The men's spring summer 2026 collection show opens with a blazer constructed with sculptural rigour and wide trousers designed for layering, almost theatrical in their presence. The jackets lengthen, evoking the tailcoat, the coats fold and open with accordion pleats that follow the movements of the body, Napoleonic jackets, while the checked vests seem to come from a nineteenth-century wardrobe reinvented for today.
