Announcing the imminent arrival of summer, Daniel Lee enlisted photographer Tyrone Lebon to capture next season&#39;s hottest swimwear collection.

In the collective imagination, summer is synonymous with carelessness and escape. <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/burberrydaniel_lee_autumn_winter_2023_debut" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daniel Lee</a> has understood this well and transports us to an enchanted solar interlude for his "A <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/burberry-presents-first-daniel-lee-arts-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Burberry</a> Summer" campaign. The legendary British House thus swaps the grey streets of London for sun-drenched beaches &ndash; which make us want a scorching summer.

A recognizable print &mdash; first introduced in the 1920s as the lining of the House's signature trench coats &mdash; the check is reinvented in a contemporary way to adorn the Burberry summer collection. Bikinis, shorts and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/modest-swimsuits-summer-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">swimsuits</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/vivienne-tam-fall-winter-2023-collection-runway-fashion-show-nyfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bucket hats</a>, tote bags, towels, bathrobes and even life jackets... Daniel Lee called on the talents of photographer Tyrone Lebon and the candor of select models to embody this summer collection. Alex Schlab, Angelina Kendall, Candace Demers, Ishmael Auguiste, Kaedon Baxter, Matheus Mesquita, Sophie Alice, Tess Carter and Tianna St Louis pose under a blazing sun or, conversely, in the privacy of the half-light a once night falls. Their radiant aura reveals the spirit of this new chapter for Burberry : that of uninhibited fashion, where summer is made for enjoying sweet idleness.
