Looking for new and magical experiences? Head to the Candlelight concerts in Brussels, a moment suspended in time as intriguing as it is unforgettable, where dreams and realities merge. Was the audience in Brussels or Tokyo? The question remains.

The concept is relatively new. Created in Madrid at the end of 2019 and put on hiatus during the Covid period, it is now back and constantly expanding in more than a hundred cities around the world. The latest? <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/art/banksy-the-permanent-museum-devoted-to-street-artists-has-opened-its-doors-in-brussels" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brussels</a>, where ten thousand <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/design/dior-nature" target="_blank" rel="noopener">candles</a> lit up the Viage Digital Art stage while the French pianist &Eacute;ric Artz created an atmosphere that transported young and old alike.

If anime and manga are not necessarily unanimous, one thing is certain, the public was surprised, for a moment of escape that lasted more than an hour. And this despite the lack of references in the matter&hellip;
What makes candlelight concerts particularly enveloping are hearing and sight, stimulated at the same time. Visually, we get lost between the thousands of candles scattered throughout the space as well as through the wall projections towards the arty atmosphere from<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/marni-show-woman-man-autumn-winter-2023-24-tokyo-collection-look-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Tokyo</a>. From neon graffiti, illuminations to a city map, audiences travel by subway through neighbourhoods from Shibuya to Harajuku.
On the music side, the first notes directly have their little effect. The French pianist - who has made anime his playground - shares his score as his fingers merge with the piano keys. If the spectators are moved to tears, they also laugh, underlining emotions mixed with childhood nostalgia. Intimate, poetic and warm, the decor and its melodies leave guests speechless.

The passion that has driven the pianist since he was seven years old has influenced his music. The concert picked up themes from Demon Slayer , Miyazaki movies like Princess Mononoke and My Neighbor Totoro , and even classic anime Dragon Ball and Naruto . Having fun with the audience Éric Artz interacts with his audience, asks them questions about their favorite anime and characters while sharing his personal anecdotes. A way to unite all generations around the love of anime. Not necessarily an anime fan? <a href="https://feverup.com/fr/bruxelles/candlelight" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fever</a> offers other concerts by candlelight, with a wide choice of musical styles, ranging from classical music to pop, jazz and even film music.
