The historic Grand Hotel Europa becomes W Prague, continuing a 120-year history of hospitality.

Art Nouveau architecture and Mucha&#39;s graphics, the chimes of the astronomical clock, the alleys of Mala Strana and the (modern and romantic) embrace between Ginger &amp; Fred. These are just some of the symbols of Prague , postcards that, over the years, after a complete restyling of the city, have given the Czech capital bright colors and even more charm. Like the facade of the historic <a href="https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/prgwh-w-prague/overview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grand Hotel Evropa</a> , a classic of the city&#39;s hospitality, in Art Nouveau style, which dominates Wenceslas Square , with the gold lettering, the wrought iron parapets, the red-lined bow windows, and above all the “W” to indicate the acquisition of the luxury brand W Hotel by Marriot Bonvoy.

And a hidden W is also found, curiously, in an ancient painting that has been hanging for over a century in the hall, a historic part of the hotel dating back to 1905 , and which today extends to a more contemporary wing, both designed to welcome a traveler attentive to detail and design. The interior spaces are majestic, with the large room that houses the restaurant , where the Art Nouveau style meets its current interpretation , given by the chandeliers, sconces and dark wood, and windows from which you can enjoy the city walk. Breakfast is served here - where it is hard to resist the temptations of the traditional pastry - and lunch and dinner when it becomes <a href="https://beefbar.com/le-petit-beefbar-prague/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Le Petit Beefbar au Grand Café</a> , bringing an international offer, famous for its meat but also able to be loved by vegetarian palates. The W Lounge with garden is also elegant yet informal, and is also a bistro offering majestic club sandwiches and Caesar salads to be enjoyed while sitting on comfortable pastel-colored sofas.

On the ground floor and the first floor, reachable by the wrought iron staircase, many private rooms, including the mirror room where Kafka wrote , which are a continuous tribute to a historical period of great charm. The rooms and suites, 161 in total, are divided into the two areas; a special mention goes to the WOW Bohemia Duplex and the Above Rooftop Bar , which comes to life in the evening and dominates the &quot;golden city&quot; from above. A city where you can let your instincts carry you away, full of majestic buildings, unmissable museums - the brand new one dedicated to <a href="https://www.mucha.cz/it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mucha</a> , which also defines the aesthetics of the hotel - and small cafes with an old-world feel. Or hidden places, like the cocktail bars at the hotel&#39;s <a href="https://minusone.wprague.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Minus One</a> , with access also from the outside, which benefit from the expertise and savoir faire of an award-winning mixologist: Jan Sebek . An intimate space, divided into a performance room and lounge, a speakeasy and a room for private tastings . Perfect for spending a romantic evening or for a meeting with friends.
