People of Ibiza
People of Ibiza: Merel Krielaart
This new section of L'OFFICIEL IBIZA is an homage to the global nomads who’ve found community and connection on Ibiza’s sun-soaked shores. The models and musicians, artists and architects, luminaries and visionaries whose extraordinary journeys and creative lifestyles have made Ibiza into a global exemplar for a new paradigm of living. To introduce the report, L'OFFICIEL IBIZA meets Merel Kreilaart, model, muse, mother of six and the co-founder of iconic island brand, World Family Ibiza.
The first print cover in a series of three for L’OFFICIEL IBIZA’s second issue is the artwork LUNA LLENA, an homage to the work of the seminal French artist Yves Uro. Uro came to define the image of nightlife in Ibiza during the heady days of the 1970s and ‘80s, when his avant garde club poster designs for the likes of Ku, Glory’s and Pacha became a calling card for Ibiza’s hedonistic party scene.
Catherine Uro's exclusive letter to her brother introduces this remarkable issue.
