The master acupuncturist and energy worker is one of Ibiza&rsquo;s most sought-after therapists.

<a href="https://dipika.life/">Dipika Wishart </a>is a powerhouse healer and spiritual guide who integrates mind, body and soul in her transformational Zero-Point Reset sessions. An acupuncturist for over twenty years, Dipika's healing journey began following a road accident at the age of 19 which was, she declares, 'when Krishna showed up.&rsquo; Dipika practices a combination of acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Daoist stone medicine, the Egyptian science of biogeometry and Theta healing. Born in Qatar to Indian parents, she has lived in Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia and Thailand and is internationally renowned for her intuitive work with both adults and children.

When I was younger my friends all called me &lsquo;Doctor Dipi&rsquo; because of my calling to nurture. I knew I didn't want to study Western medicine but I didn&rsquo;t know what else was available. I have always had a clear guiding voice, and when that voice told me study acupuncture, my fear of needles meant I couldn&rsquo;t reconcile the two. But I don&rsquo;t argue with spirit and decided to apply to study at the University of Westminster because it was a science degree. In the meantime I went traveling for a while and had a couple of acupuncture sessions with a Chinese master who blew my mind, even though I hated needles. I felt electricity. I felt power. I was cured of a condition that had plagued me in my teen years and experienced a deep unexplainable connection to this art and science of acupuncture. Upon my return I went on a deep dive into Traditional Chinese Medicine and my life changed. I learned a whole new language and understood life in a way that made sense. After three years of training, I went to work in hospitals in China. I was treating 30 to 40 patients a day, feeling their pulses, looking at their tongues, sticking needles in. It was a real baptism of fire, but that's when I saw the power of Chinese medicine. That's when I really understood that it&rsquo;s not just for a bellyache or stress. I saw people being healed from the deblititating effects of heart strokes and paralysis from road traffic accidents. Totally cured. It was astonishing and it was the fuel that continues to inspire me in the course of my work.

Around nine years ago I was living in Thailand and practicing on the island of Koh Tao. I started to notice that people were coming back telling me that this was wrong and that was wrong. When I felt their pulses, it all felt good, yet they seemed to be suffering. And that's when I started to really understand the power of the mind. These people thought they were sick, so they were making themselves sick. Shortly after, a psychotherapist arrived on the island and we began to share cases. I started to see how much faster and more efficiently healing was happening when people could also talk to the psychotherapist alongside seeing me - when we addressed the body and the mind together.&nbsp;

We call it fight-or-flight mode and it&rsquo;s what makes people say they are overwhelmed, or they can&rsquo;t cope. This state is derived from past trauma, when our nervous system can&rsquo;t differentiate between what is happening now and what happened in the past. Spiritually we might say that we live in a hall of mirrors, because the identification is so close. If your system keeps saying, I can't cope with life now, everything is too overwhelming, then life keeps on mirroring that belief, because the ego, which is your protective mechanism, wants to be correct. The ego will look for and find situations that confirm it is correct, and the ego doesn&rsquo;t know when to shut down. That&rsquo;s when we need to dismantle the mental constructs in order to facilitate the healing journey.

It&rsquo;s essentially a remembering of your everything and nothing-ness in loving presence. I use a combination of <a href="https://dipika.life" target="_blank" rel="noopener">zero balancing techniques</a>, which is a very deep, hands-on, non-invasive body talk with gentle movements, TCM acupuncture and massage. What I facilitate is the space to come into your centre, where you're balanced, top to bottom, left to right. Where the mind is silent and the heart is heard.&nbsp; It takes us back the very core of who we are. I can reflect what your higher self is showing me and what I understand based on your physical presentation &ndash; your tongue, your pulses, the colour of your skin and the tone of your voice.&nbsp;&nbsp;
In a typical session, it starts with your sharing.&nbsp; Once on the treatment table I gather your sensory information and with my intuition understand&nbsp; where I need to go with your acupuncture treatment. I take you through a guided meditation whilst my hands are working underneath your body. There is a communication between your touch and my touch and - in that space - there is no push or pull, which is a rare state as we're so used to being in motion. It&rsquo;s a space to drop into deep state relaxation and receiving mode to tune in with your bones, which are the core of your being. They&rsquo;re the strongest and most yin part of you. In zero-point reset we are addressing the issues in your tissues and the traumas in your bones and inviting the body to heal itself through love for itself. The combination of techniques makes it more potent than a regular acupuncture treatment but my acupuncture as a standalone treatment is also intended and guided in the same way.
The ability to heal ourselves has always been but we have collectively forgotten and given our power away. My practice ignites a deep remembrance and recognition of your innate inner power so you can reclaim all of yourself. It is an honour to guide people where they intuitively need to go. To be the guiding light that allows them to find their way back to the infinite well of their own wisdom.
