There are so many great hideaways, retreats and luxury resorts that leave nothing to be desired, but a trip like the OKU on Kos is special in every respect. The special begins as soon as you set foot in the facility and are incredibly warmly welcomed by the staff.

Since there is no classic reception, you are taken to one of the couches on the covered terrace, where you can wait for the room key with a cool welcome drink and a view of the complex. The entire resort exudes an incredible calm that allows you to calm down and relax in no time. The very private rooms and suites all have either a roof terrace with a hammock, a terrace overlooking the adjacent garden, or access to the pool that is only shared with one or two other suites. So while you&#39;re vacationing in an exclusive luxury resort that has every amenity, you&#39;re still so private that it feels like &quot;home&quot;.

If you are looking for more connection, you will find it at the large communal pool, on the hotel's own <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/hidden-beaches-on-ibiza-s-answer-to-big-sur" target="_blank" rel="noopener">beach</a> or in the evening with one of the delicious cocktails at the bar. The boho interior design, the hammocks, as well as the colors and materials used inside and outside also round off the overall concept visually perfect. Although the resort was fully booked at the time we were there, you rarely see the other guests. They either relax in &ldquo;their own four walls&rdquo; or are out and about on one of the incredibly diverse range of activities. These range from a boat trip, or a sightseeing trip to the neighboring towns, to horseback riding on the beach, to a day trip to Bodrum in Turkey. The crossing to Bodrum takes just over an hour and there are several ferries daily. If you can't decide what you would like to do or have a certain budget, then the best thing to do is to contact the amazing Guest Relations Manager Elena. She picks just the right activities for every budget and organizes just about anything you can imagine. From the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/paris-hilton-wedding-photos-carter-reum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">marriage proposal</a> to a cozy campfire on the beach. However, the resort itself also offers enough options so that you don't have to leave it for the entire holiday.

In the morning at 8:30 a.m. you can start the day with a yoga class and then feast on the breakfast buffet in peace. From the classic breakfast to local delicacies to homemade cakes and tarts, the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The same applies to the lunch menu and dinner. We especially recommend the three types of Greek spreads with homemade pita bread and what is probably the best hummus on the island. In addition to the culinary offer, everything to do with sports and wellness can also be seen in the OKU. A modern gym with wooden equipment, a spa with a relaxation area and indoor pool, and a massage menu that should definitely be tried

If you arrive at the OKU stressed and want to find peace there, which is very easy to do in this dreamlike place, you should definitely treat yourself to one of the massages. After a 60-minute full-body massage (if possible, book it with Faye and her magical hands) you float out of the spa and feel reborn.
