THOM BROWNE&#39;S SPRING SUMMER 2023 WOMEN&#39;S SHOW In the Grand Foyer of the Palais Garnier, a glittering shoe over two meters high occupies the space between the sumptuous paintings and stuccoes. Could it look like Cinderella&#39;s lost slipper? Thus begins the story telling for <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/fashion-week/thom-browne-sfilata-uomo-primavera-estate-2023-collezione-foto-look" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Thom Browne</a> &#39;s spring summer 2023 women&#39;s collection . Opens the show, &#39;Game of Thrones&#39; star Gwendoline &nbsp; Christie , with a coat studded with gold embroidery. The dresses in the collection are sumptuous, rich: a triumph of flounces that structure the taffeta coats, tailored suits studded with polka dots of different sizes and draped dresses. The silhouette is structured on several levels, overlapping pleats, three-dimensional volumes also emphasized by energetic and at times childish colors. The models wear <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/varsity-jacket-uomo-donna-giacca-bomber-tendenza-primavera-estate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">varsity jackets</a> with silk grosgrain piping, bearing the numbers of American football players. And still bustiers, tulle nets that cover the face, bows embroidered on the dresses, pleated poodle skirts and magic wands in hand. On the wide flared skirts with the print of the dachshund by Thom Browne, Hector, an icon of the Maison who is also remembered with the playful bag that is tinged with pastel colors.
