PVC shoes were seen in trends a few years ago, but this season designers rediscovered plastic and applied it to everyday footwear.

During the warm seasons, famous brands have revived translucent and colored plastic footwear. Designer Amina Muaddi, who has been creating some of the most coveted high heels of celebrities, has been famous for such shoes for some time. The distinguishing feature of its models is a curled windening heel, which gives the shoe stability and a distincitve character.

Other fashion houses this seaosn have offered boldy designed high heels with plastic elements - Gianvito Rossi. Their new shoes flirt with high heel platforms, metal luster and long, ankle-wrapped laces. The plastic is dominated by color: light blue, lush purple, sour lemon, green or hot red.

This year, very fashionable high-heeled sandlas with a wider plastic foot strap. Such shoes were popular in the first decades of this millennium (2000-2010), but the return of Y2K fashion (year 2000), these sandals also returned. Not only a separate heel is fashionable, but also a solid platform. The fashionable sandals are combined with beachwear, knitted dresses and Y2K-style aesthetics.
Vintage shoes with plastic details are also worth a look at second-hand stores, pay attention to plastic straps, straps or see-through plastic heels. The latter is also a fashionable detail in the finishing of footwear this summer. In the new collections, not only Amina Muaddi or Gianvito Rossi, but alsp Loewe, Versace and Aquazzura have aplied such heels to their high heels.
