For Autumn/Winter 2025-2026 <a href="https://www.instagram.com/cateholstein/?hl=fr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">,</a> <a href="https://khaite.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Khaite</a> designer Catherine Holstein returned to a darker, more assertive take on her aesthetic, following a softer, lighter previous season. The show, held at the imposing Park Avenue Armory, took place on a giant circular runway, lit to evoke an eclipse, accentuating the mysterious and intense mood. Guests included the likes of Meghann Fahy, Chase Sui Wonders and the ultimate cool girl, Sky Ferreira, while the soundtrack, featuring tracks by the Smashing Pumpkins, immersed the audience in an electrifying atmosphere. The collection, true to its DNA, showcased powerful and sensual pieces: fitted leather skirts, bodycon dresses and bomber jackets, but also exaggerated sweaters and shiny leather trenches in dark tones, ranging from black to grey, neutrals and the brand's signature dark red. Sheer fabrics and leopard prints brought a subtle touch of sensuality, while the argyle pattern, diverted from its usual preppy side, was introduced with finesse. Accessories also played a key role, with over-the-knee boots, opera gloves and handbags in a deliciously ladylike style, affirming the chic and femininity of the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/khaite_ny/?hl=fr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Khaite</a> silhouette. Stylistic choices, such as the unexpected return of newsboy caps or the famous jeans tucked into boots, are likely to mark future trends. At the end of the show, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/abbeylee/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Abbey Lee Kershaw</a> , in a deconstructed leather trench coat, closed the show with such allure that we could already imagine the pre-orders multiplying. Catherine Holstein , with her mastery of style and undeniable confidence, once again proved that she knows how to capture the essence of modern feminine desire, while heralding a new era of powerful and captivating clothes.
