Fake heiress Anna Delvey and fashion PR maven Kelly Cutrone are reportedly producing a runway show for designer Shao Yang during New York Fashion Week.

If there's one thing anyone can count on, it's that <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/art/art-world-scandals-mona-lisa-banksy-anna-delvey" target="_blank" rel="noopener">con artist and scammer</a> turned sensation Anna Delvey will keep her name relevant. The latest of her headlining projects? The fake heiress has tapped in fashion PR maven Kelly Cutrone to produce a fashion show together during <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/nyfw-schedule-september-2023-spring-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Fashion Week</a>, <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/08/22/anna-delvey-kelly-cutrone-producing-runway-show-for-nyfw/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to Page Six</a>. The two will be putting on a show for new designer Shao Yang, planning everything from the guest list to the models.&nbsp;
<a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/08/22/anna-delvey-kelly-cutrone-producing-runway-show-for-nyfw/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to Page Six</a>, the two met after Delvey said on her Call Her Daddy podcast interview that seeing Cutrone's fashion work on shows like MTV's The Hills influenced her to move to New York. The two have since created the OutLaw Agency, a &ldquo;pop-up fashion PR agency,&rdquo; for the runway show.
"It was so great to finally get connected with Kelly," Delvey <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/08/22/anna-delvey-kelly-cutrone-producing-runway-show-for-nyfw/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said to Page Six</a>. "I used to watch her on [Bravo&rsquo;s] Kell on Earth as a teenager in Germany, and she was always such an icon in my mind. My first internship was for a fashion PR agency in Berlin, and that decision was largely influenced by her as well."

The date of the show is currently set for September 11, and "because there&rsquo;s no room for hair and make-up near Delvey&rsquo;s downtown digs, around 20 models will be bussed in from a Canal Street studio," per the sources that spoke to Page Six. Additionally, "the bulk of the event will happen 'in the vicinity' of the spot that&rsquo;s been her home since she was released from prison early in 2021."
The guest list is assumed to be exclusive, especially given the limited amount of space, with only a handful of fashion editors currently known to be receiving invitations.&nbsp;
"This is fun, but it's not a joke," Cutrone told Page Six. "It&rsquo;s a serious project to get some attention for talented designers."
"As a young brand, we need to think outside the box," designer Yang expressed to Page Six, who was reportedly immediately on board with the project once presented to her.

Delvey became an overnight sensation after <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/series-like-halston-netflix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Netflix documented</a> how this Russian-born swindler fooled the top 1% into believing she was a German heiress. Throughout the years, she befriended some of the world's wealthiest people, frequented exclusive restaurants and parties, traveled in private jets, wore hundreds of dollars worth of clothes, and established herself as a fixture in the elite NYC scene.&nbsp;
She was eventually caught in 2017, accused of theft of $300,000 and attempted theft of $22 million and was charged with 10 counts of theft, larceny, attempted theft, and attempted larceny. She was found guilty on eight counts and given four to 12 years, though she was released early on parole in 2021 for good behavior.
In an <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/08/16/fake-heiress-anna-delvey-regrets-her-choices-but-is-she-sorry/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview with The New York Post</a>, she (somewhat) apologised for her actions, stating, "I regret a lot of decisions I&rsquo;ve made in the past. I have not made great choices. My mistakes are very public, and I will have to live with it forever.&rdquo;
She added, "It gets thrown back into my face every day pretty much. Me moving on does not mean that I&rsquo;m saying everything I did was so right. I learned from my mistakes. I paid restitution in full. I paid my legal fees. I never had any public defender. I never took money from the government. Nobody&rsquo;s paying my rent. Nobody&rsquo;s paying for anything. So, people, what else is there?"
She since resides in <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/history-gay-nightlife-nyc-clubs-drag-ball" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York City</a> under house arrest, though that hasn't stopped her from making headlines. Earlier this year, she signed a deal for an unscripted series called&nbsp;Delvey's Dinner Club, with further details about the project waiting to be announced.
