Since Virgil Abloh&#39;s sudden death last year, the creative world has continuously paid tribute to his legacy with collections and exhibitions. Most recently, Nordstrom unveiled Concept 018: Virgil Abloh Securities, the collection that is said to be the closest expression of Virgil&#39;s spirit.

Concept 018 marks the arrival of a new collection on the New Concept platform that Nordstrom has just launched, with a series of designs located in pop-up stores to celebrate creative talent. Concept 018, released online from August 11, incorporates Abloh's top legacies, including the Off-White, Alaskan Alaska and Canary Yellow brand. The project also incorporates Church &amp; State's commercial product, derived from Abloh's "Figures of Speech" exhibition sponsored by Nordstrom.

"Like many things Virgil has done, this project started with a WhatsApp conversation a few months after I joined Nordstrom," the retailer;s Menswear and Editorial Director Jian DeLeon told the newspaper. Highsnobiety "After recieving the group call, it became clear to me that we had a greater opportunity to bring Virgil's unique worldview to our custumers."
"From the very first concept, this concept has always sought to tie together all of Virgil's disparate creative endeavors. The more we talked with his team, the more it became clear to us that this would be an ideal way to amplify Virgil ABloh Securities' mission, to preserve and continue Virgil's incredible creative ethos across the world."

Nordstrom's Virgil Abloh Securities concept includes men's and women's clothing, ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories. In addition to the capsule collection from Denim Tears x Canary Yellow and American skateboarder Sal Barbier, Nordstrom is also launching the exclusive Off-White x Nordstrom capsule collection and Off-White fragrance, as well as clothing and accessories at the exhibition "Figures of Speech".

"I hope this inspires a new generation of creatives in fashion and beyond. Giving opportunities to the less fortunate is an important aspect of what Virgil has done, and part of his legacy is a guide spot for anyone to follow in his footsteps."

In partnership with the Brooklyn Museum, Nordstrom continues to work closely with Abloh-related activities and events such as Teen Night, where Nordstrom will mentor younger generations, emphasizing Abloh's spirit in patronizing and guiding the next generation of fashion.
