At Milan Fashion Week Alessandro Dell&#39;Acqua reflects on his roots, the clichés and occasions of use of fashion and presents the spring summer 2024 collection.

&laquo;I'm not afraid to use clich&eacute;s and elaborate them&raquo; confesses <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/search?query=Alessandro+Dell%27Acqua" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alessandro Dell'Acqua</a> &laquo;For me Naples is not an experience because it represents my origins. Based on my knowledge of this city where everything overlaps, I built the imagery of a light, airy, optimistic collection. I brought together the aristocratic and common soul, culture and carnality, false morality and brazen natural sensuality. The inspirations for Sammartini's Veiled Christ and another in San Lorenzo resurface, the neighborhood that contains the Sanservero Chapel which houses it, together with all the local contradictions. From here the trompe l'oeil effects arise which are not contained in the image but in the form. In this journey I was helped by fabrics and materials that I used out of context."

The N&deg;&nbsp;21 collection are mixed with references to party dresses with sequin dresses; references to <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/yves-saint-laurent-s-most-iconic-wedding-dresses" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bridal</a> with gloves, veils and the strong presence of white; the brazenly displayed <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/uca-lingerie-shapes-a-sustainable-future-by-targeting-70-recycled-material" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lingerie</a>; and hints of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/nike-martine-rose-collaboration-womens-collection-to-buy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sportswear</a> with jogging or boxing shorts. An interesting design and styling operation in which the courage of ever-changing fashion shines through.
