Simon Porte Jacquemus has officially chosen his grandmother, Liline Jacquemus, as the first ambassador in Jacquemus&#39; history.

Despite having invited many famous stars such as Jennie (BLACKPINK), Kendall Jenner, and Bad Bunny to appear in his advertising campaigns, the designer still maintains that Liline Jacquemus is "the most special woman in my life." She appeared in a recent video where Simon Porte Jacquemus presented her with his latest bag. This design is named after his late mother, Val&eacute;rie, who is also Liline's daughter.
Liline Jacquemus is a familiar guest at the fashion house's shows and made her modelling debut for Jacquemus in 2020, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Even before Jacquemus was born, she was a source of inspiration. Her inner strength, elegance, and authenticity shaped Simon Porte Jacquemus’s vision and continue to nurture the brand’s spirit. For him, she is the perfect embodiment of the Jacquemus woman,” the brand shared. Proud of her rural roots in Provence, Jacquemus named her latest collection Le Paysan (The Farmer). According to the brand, Liline was born in 1946, grew up in a farming family in Alleins, a small village in southern France, and was raised by a single mother of Italian descent.

Above all, Liline Jacquemus represents the soul of the fashion house, reminding us that Jacquemus, after all, is a story of roots,&rdquo; the brand emphasised.
Established in 2009, Jacquemus quickly made his mark with runway shows staged in iconic locations such as lavender fields, salt mines, and the Palace of Versailles. His next collection is scheduled to be presented at the Picasso Museum this coming Sunday.
