The brand founded by Chitose Abe in 1999 collaborates with Carhartt WIP to create a capsule collection inspired by the coolness of the workwear style to be released on September 8th.

A fusion of two aesthetics traveling on two parallel tracks. On the one hand the sartorial lexicon made of Chitose Abe deconstructions of sacai, on the other the unmistakable utilitarian workwear style of Carhartt WIP. Together, they present the sacai x Carhartt WIP collaboration for the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/fashion-campaigns-autumn-winter-2023-24-woman-man" target="_blank" rel="noopener">autumn</a><a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/fashion-campaigns-autumn-winter-2023-24-woman-man" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&nbsp;winter</a> 2023-24 men's and women's collection. Functional creations made with durable materials such as nylon twill, cotton drill but also <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/knitwear-brands-designers-changing-fashion-sustainable" target="_blank" rel="noopener">knitwear</a> used for outerwear thanks to experimentation with innovative techniques.

The creativity of the sacai x Carhartt campaign was entrusted to director Joaquim Bayle, starring a cast of Carhartt Work In Progress skaters made up of Pepe Tirelli, Tolia Titaev, Dede Lovelace and Kasper Kacia represented during rituals and tricks on skateboard decks.
The collection will be presented with a series of special <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/3-new-ephemeral-boutiques-in-saint-tropez-bdc-dior-jacquemus-indie-beach" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pop up stores</a> : from Dover Street Market in London and in the Isetan sacai on September 6th, to BELOGROUND on September 7th and at the Shanghai Taikoo Li Qiantan sacai on September 8th. While worldwide, the release of the collaboration is scheduled for September 8 in sacai retailers, and in the respective online stores of sacai and Carhartt.
