This is undoubtedly one of the major moments of season 2 of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/movies-tv-shows-watch-october-2022-hbo-netflix-hulu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The White Lotus</a> , a satirical comedy tackling the indecent behavior of the ultra-rich on vacation and recently awarded at the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/golden-globes-2023-red-carpet-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Golden Globes</a> ceremony. While the main protagonists of the series stay in their magnificent Sicilian hotel complex, in the third episode of the series, Daphne, camped by Meghann Fahy , and Harper, interpreted by Aubrey Plaza , decide to change air, and choose the exceptional Villa Tasca located in Palermo to put down their suitcases. A place steeped in history with walls covered in spectacular frescoes, which can now be rented on Airbnb.

In the Sicilian capital, the estate instantly transports its guests to the 1500s. With around 10 hectares of garden and 4 bedrooms, each including a bathroom, Villa Tasca also has a double staircase that guides visitors up to the main floor. The living room and dining room feature high ceilings, large windows, and Italian <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/search?query=art" target="_blank" rel="noopener">art</a> and design in every corner, including landscape paintings on the walls and on some rugs that cover the polished stone floors. Spectacular frescoes, which notably contributed to the theatrical atmosphere of the third episode of season 2, making each scene filmed within the villa more poetic than the other. While the character of Aubrey Plaza worries about what her companion could do at the hotel in her absence, the latter evolves within the villa in a breathtaking setting, where each shot recalls the details of a tableau vivant, enhanced by these exceptional frescoes. Details such as gilt portraits, carved wooden cabinets, and marble tiles in the bathroom are particularly noteworthy.

The nerve center of the place, the villa also includes a swimming pool in the heart of a magnificent lush garden, conducive to letting go. It is also installed on the deckchairs at the edge of the water that Daphne will indulge in a few secrets about her relationship with Harper... The pluses? A billiard room, a bar and a caring team.
