The Academy has disclosed the nominations for the Oscars 2023: from Austin Butler to Cate Blanchett, from Angela Bassett to Michelle Yeoh, many surprises and some great excluded ones. Italy will be represented in Los Angeles with Alice Rohrwacher&#39;s short “Le pupille” and Elvis&#39; hair stylist, Aldo Signoretti.

Allison Williams and Riz Ahmed announced their 2023 Academy Award nominations from the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles . The film by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, "Everything everywhere all at once" , won 11 nominations, closely followed by "Spirits of the Island" , the Irish comedy by Martin McDonagh - 9 nominations -, and by the film German "All Quiet on the Western Front" with 8. Steven Spielberg takes home 8 nominations with his "The Fabelmans" . "Elvis" wins me &ldquo;only&rdquo; 7, including Best Actor for Austin Butler .  The candidates for best director are all men, although in the last two editions the winners of that award have been two women, Chloe Zhao and Jane Campion : Charlotte Wells "Aftersun" and Gina Prince-Bythewood for "The Woman King" , would have been two very valid nominations; and again for "The Woman King" no nominations even for Viola Davis . The big names excluded (and which it was assumed would be nominated for the Oscars 2023) are Tom Cruise for Top Gun , Margot Robbie for "Babylon" , <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/every-taylor-swift-album-era-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift for the song " Carolina"</a> , which is part of the soundtrack of the film " Where the Crawdads Sing" .
